Alot of RUN Around for a simple Angry Birds question????

I downloaded the angry bird app to my PC. No problems there. It was supposed to be free for a first time user to the Intel Appup Center, as I was... I was charged $4.99 plus fee. I just want to know how to keep the game and get refunded the $ as it was supposed to be free through the Best Buy promotion. Someone please help instead of sending me links to unanswered questions.... Thank you.

    Hello All,

     

    If you feel that you qualified (see below) for a free copy of Angry Birds and either did not receive Angry Birds or were charged for Angry Birds please provide your email address so we may investigate further.  Your email is your account name and the only way we have of checking your account. You can post it here or respond through email.  See more info below.

     

    Most customers were able to get the free download of Angry Birds when they registered for the Best Buy AppUp promotion , but we have a small number of customers who are experiencing an issue where they saw the pop-up that says they have received a free copy of Angry Birds after completing the registration, but when they check for the app under the My Apps menu it is not shown.  As noted previously in this thread, there are two primary reasons for this:

     

    1. You are already a registered user of Intel AppUp (you must register through the Best Buy promotion as a new Intel AppUp user to qualify)

    2. You reside in a county that the app developer has not authorized Intel to distribute the app in (http://www.intel.com/support/software/stores/sb/CS-031696.htm)

     

    If you are experiencing this issue and you do not believe it is related to either one of the two reasons listed above please send us an email to let us know. We will investigate and entitle you to a free copy if you should have received one. However, you have to send us an email because the account info we need to investigate the issue is not available to us from the community user name posting alone.

     

    To send us an email from AppUp, you can select the Help menu and then select Contact Support. From the AppUp community you can select Send An Email from the Actions menu in the upper left.

    The Best Buy free Angry Bird promotion has ended. If you are still experiencing an issue related to this promotion please contact our support team via email. To send us an email from AppUp, you can select the Help menu and then select Contact Support. From the AppUp community you can select Send An Email from the Actions menu in the upper left.
