I dont think you will get any answer here.
Depending on which platform you are using, i would advise to try on these communities:
All the best,
I agree with you. Vbios is updated when you update the board bios for systems like Desktop Boards, laptop, OEM products.
This is why i mentioned in my previous post that depending on which platform you are using, you may check on the two communities i gave.
For example, a quick comparison of the I3 CPU family:
You can see that there is one which is available in embedded skus, sometimes you may have different tools which allows to update the vbios.
This is why i thought a precise answer can be obtained from these communities as there are several graphics experts who can give better advice.
All the best,
thanks for all your responses!
so, in my case, to update the vbios in my Intel core i3, I would to update the cpu, is correct?
in this case I think to remain forever with current bios version...
but I have a problem (not very serious but fastidious) I think is imputable to vbios of graphic card: when the monitor (LG M2762D) is attached via HDMI and I turn on the PC, if the monitor is turned off (and I turn on it when is started windows desktop) the pc starts correctly. otherwise, if I turn on the pc and immediately also the monitor (or if the monitor was already turned on), when windows starts he freeze on the desktop loading and I have to wait a few seconds. in this case sometimes appears correctly the desktop but I receive the message "The display driver has stopped working and has recovered", sometimes I have to reset manually the pc.
there is also another little (but all the same fastidious ) problem. when the pc is turned on and i switch the monitor input to the second HDMI where is connected the PS3, at the return to HDMI 1 (pc) the desktop icons are stray in desktop as if the vga was reset the screen resolution.
sorry if this not is the proper way to explain theese problems.
