I was very new to OS deployment and always thought it is the realm of the System Administrators. However, once I noticed that you could actually build a PXE service point in your configuration manager my interest really perked. I wanted to try it out and gain some experience in this area. As I started experimenting, I leaned few tips that can be used to successfully do simple OS deployments. I have also noticed some issues with PXE service point on my VMs (perhaps due to lack of sufficient memory) and figured a way to work around those issues, documented here towards the end. Overall, I found this to be a great tool to deploy Windows 7 and particularly useful if you had vPro systems deployed and provisioned in your environment.
