Intel has been working with multiple ISVs to implement Dynamic Virtual Clients. This Case study details how using RingCube’s vDesk (Virtual Desktop) solution on Intel Architecture PCs helped Cloud10 (Call Center Provider) keep jobs in the US. Cloud 10 selected RingCube vDesk on the PC delivery mechanism where the vDesk master workspace image is stored and managed in the Cloud 10 data center. Each vDesk workspace instance is then provisioned remotely to the end users over the network and any policy changes, application updates, or deletion/revocation are managed and controlled centrally while utilizing the local PC computing to deliver the best experience to our agents. Using Intel’s PCs made the process of application delivery very simple, delivered high performance and also helped lower the overall cost of software management. In addition, Intel® vPro™ technology enhances remote manageability of PCs.
