Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN Problems

Version 1

So I recently put in the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN WiFi adapter into my HP laptop. Thinking all was good and expecting dual-band wireless as well I was all excited. Come to find out that I am getting slower speeds at the moment. Should be getting anywhere from 30-60 Mbps. Sadly it's not the case. I can only (on a good day) get about 8-9 with only my laptop connected. I did however figure out that if I happen to uninstall the driver for the wireless card and reinstall it, the expected speeds are where they should be. I've tried different things and nothing seems to avail. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks (:

*SIDE NOTE- I am running Windows 8.1
