Booth traffic for day 1 and 2 was excellent! Lots of interest in the Xen Client implemenation and the new IMS server not to mention the Nehalem EX 8 core processor in the 7500 series server. It was sporting 4 of those 8 core bad boys for a total of 32 cores. It was running our entire Hyper V environment (14 + virtual machines) without even breaking a sweat! Steve from Citrix loves it! Even with Jerry staring intently from behind the monitor....

The Xen Desktop demo pod was a very busy place during the last 2 days of the event. We were streaming Windows 7 and XP desktops to 2 different diskless machines bare metal. We then were remotely connected to Xen Desktops hosted back on the server. Using HDX, we then ran a 720p video inside that VM displayed on the lcoal machine using the hardware of that machine to render it. On the streamed host OS we were running a 1080p video and 3d spnning widget. CPU performance was avg 22% on the Core I5 system. Outstanding!

The Expo Hall closed today at 3:30pm and that was it for us at the show. It was an OUTSTANDING event with lots of great people and huge participation in all the Intel booth had to offer! Looking forward to next year!!
