Absolute Software is one of the leading vendors providing support for Intel Anti-Theft technology, and they have a cloud-based application that helps business of all sizes with their anti-theft needs. In a previous blog, I covered how Absolute Software can disable laptops with 2010 Intel Core vPro processors if they are lost or stolen.
A recent development is a new Absolute Software Management Pack that helps connect Absolute Software and Intel Anti-Theft technology with the new Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2010. This new management console is meant for IT problem resolution technicians, and the management pack helps IT managers easily integrate Intel Anti-theft technology capabilities into their existing IT workflow.
For a demonstration, we recently filmed Absolute Software's Geoff Glave while at the Microsoft Management Summitt 2010. Watch the video below to learn more.
Also - while at MMS, we had Travis Wright, a senior program manager lead with Microsoft, talk about the benefits of 2010 Intel Core vPro processors (including Intel Anti-Theft technology) with Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2010. Watch the video below to learn more.
