Intel has identified an issue on the Intel® 6th Gen (Skylake) and 7th Gen (Kaby Lake) based processors.
This issue can only happen while the processor is in hyper-threading mode.There is a very low probability of exposure to the issue due to the significant number of complex conditions required to trigger the issue.
A fix for this issue is available and started rolling out out to system manufacturers in April 2017.Intel recommends contacting your System Provider (Manufacturer) directly to make sure your BIOS is up-to-date.
