Every day in IT, we have the opportunity to transform traditional thinking and expectations about how IT delivers value that fuels business innovation, partnership, velocity, as well as productivity.
We encourage employees to be ‘bold’ in their thinking and ideas. With an understanding of the business goals and of how the business operates, IT employees are encouraged to proactively take new ideas to the business that would be unexpected from IT or seem potentially impossible -- that ultimately will help the business do better.
Small Team + Big Idea = New Content Delivery
A small team of five people took a bold idea --- to reimagine how we deliver information to our peers and the industry. At Intel IT, the goal has always been to tell our story inside-out by sharing what we do, why we do and how we do it. At the end of each year we produce the Intel IT Annual Performance Report, a 12-page report chock full of data and proof points of IT value. Our team of five asked, “What would happen if we took a new approach to communicating with our IT industry peers? Could we connect with them more often through social channels and share our best practices as we go (not wait until the end of the year)? Could we build in social sharing and engage with them on their favorite devices?”
The new Intel IT Business Review mobile app (for smart phones) and a digital magazine (for tablets) with our latest best practices and examples of IT business value. The Intel IT Business Review will have a quarterly cadence. We want to begin the conversations sooner in the year, so we can engage with our IT industry peers throughout the deployment of new technologies, services or usage models. And then we will pull it all together in an annual report at the end of the year.
Introducing Intel IT CTO Insights
The first edition of the Intel IT Business Report, Intel IT CTO Insights, will be focused on IT innovation.
You will hear from Ed Goldman, the General Manager of Intel IT’s Strategy, Architecture & Innovation (SAI) group and IT’s Chief Technical Officer. Ed is passionate about innovation, possibility thinking, and inspiring action in those he leads.
