i buyed a memory with a speed of 1600 MHZ of OCZ . i asked on there suport forum for a help exactly how to config the memery speed on the bios for this system that i have without need to do OCC or any need of any spesiol cooling system. just stock cooling system.

they answer me and give me this setting :

"Set the memory voltage to 1.65V and manually set the timings to 7-7-7-24(CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS), tRFC 88. Once you've done that you should be able to change the memory speed to 1600Mhz no problem."

the same thing was when i was have before memory of G-SKILL 1600MHZ , they officel suport forum saying to set the memory speed there to 1600 mhz

when i talked with the computer store that i buyed the system from there.

they told me on mail that its because i set the memory speed to 1600 and that i might ruin the computer with makking the memory work on 1600 and that i maked OC to the all computer because of it ( even if the memory speed is 1600 ) and they told me that if i set the memory speed to more then 1066 MHz it will do OCC to all the computer include the CPU. and they sayed that i can't do it without a proper cooling system of OCC to the cpu , and even with a proper cooling system for Cpu they sayed if i will set the memory speed to 1600 MHz the system wont be stable .

its something that look to me bulshit . why to buy a memory of 1600 MHz if i can't run it this speed.also all the memory of DD3 that salling today is 1300mhz+ not lower, so why to sale it at that speed if i can't run it ?

from what i asked there OCZ they told me that i should run the memory on my system on 1600 MHZ with no problem and without need spesiol cooling system .same sayed G-SKILL support

what i want to ask here is can i run the memory on 1600 MHZ on my computer ? or only at 1066 MHz

i need intel suport here plz
