Bonjour,

J’utilise l’AppUP depuis un certain temps. J’ai eu quelques problèmes auparavant et ai du le des-installer et le ré-installer plusieurs fois mais maintenant que je l’ai ré-installé, il y a Erreur 304 affiché.

Qu’est ce que ça veut dire? J’utilise le même ordinateur. Je n’ai qu’un ordinateur et n’ai jamais utilisé AppUp dans une autre machine. Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plait?

BIOS Logo Utility for Windows*

This is the BIOS Logo utility for the Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor Based Server Boards.

The Change Logo Utility allows you to replace the Intel BIOS splash screen logo inside the BIOS capsule file with a new one.

Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool

The purpose of the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool is to verify the functionality of an Intel® microprocessor. The diagnostic checks for brand identification, verifies the processor operating frequency, tests specific processor features and performs a stress test on the processor.

One of my colleagues told me about this tool. Since it is a new tool, I would imagine that updated version will be released occassionally.

It would be great if anyone can post their own results and comments so that others can have read as well.

Updating Firmware on SnowHill Intel ® S3200SH Board - FANS TOO LOUD

When the fan are spinning too loud, it can be due to:
1. Wrong system fans are connected on the board.
2. Incompatible chassis and wrongly configured SDR.
3. Compatible chassis with a wrongly configured SDR
4. Bios Settings wrongly configured.
5. Firmware update required

This board Snowhill supports EFI update.
Make sure that the correct system fans are connected to the correct fan headers.
Refer to the Quick Start Guide for more information if you are using Intel Chassis.

Download the latest firmware package ex: S3200SH_BIOS48_BMC32_FRUSDR114 and extract the whole contents to the root directory of a fat formatted USB stick.

Plug the USB stick to the target machine and boot into the EFI shell. The usb stick does not need to be dos bootable.

If the usb stick is detected on the EFI shell and the file startup.nsh is on the root directory of the usb key, it will launch the update automatically.

It will update the BMC first.

Then afterwards, it will update the FRUSDR.

You will get a screen similar to this:

"Does the chassis have the optional system fan 2 (chassis front)?"
YES
NO

Select the correct chassis.
Select No if you have the optional system fan 2 (which is usually for drive bay)

Then after the FRUSDR update, it will launch the bios update.

You will hear beep after the bios has been updated successfully.

Type reset on the efi shell.

Check if the firmware bios, bmc and sdr have been updated correctly.
