I have an Asus Maximus II Formula and the temperature of the southbridge is constantly at 55 º C, this is normal?
This high temperature can decrease the lifetime of the southbridge?

Hi,
First thing the Asus Pc Probe isn't the most reliable
Second is that the temp is completly fine , its not even high, they go up to about the MCH goes up to about 95, the ICH to about 93, so you have nothing to worry about.
