If you right- so far I can`t see the download link.
I'm guessing everyone will have to update since it's 02HD. I'm scared should I do it?
I just updated mine (80gb x25-m g2), so far so good ![]()
I'm running Windows7 x64 Home Edition on a Gateway P-7805u.

just look in the announcement section on top of the ssd forum:
Intel has released a new firmware (02HD) and firmware update tool (version 1.5) to fix the issue with the firmware update process on 34nm (G2) Intel® X25-M SSDs (80GB and 160GB).
Intel recommends that end users Download this firmware update tool and upgrade your SSD
• This new firmware provides Trim support (on 80GB and 160GB) and better sequential write performance (on 160GB)
• If you experience any issues during the upgrade process contact Intel Customer Support
Just updating my clone and will give the firmware update a go. I have had no problems with the 02HA and my MacBook Pro (on a 160GB G2 drive) though.
Dverez - it's definitely there.......I've just downloaded it all. Just have to pluck up the courage to go for it on Win 7 x64.......
I'll be reading the instructions and so on very carefully first!

I have had no problems so far, even flashed in AHCI mode. My bootup after the flash was even faster than before the flash. Everything is smooth as silk.
edit Win 7 Pro x64, with 80 gb G2 as system drive.
I`ve downloaded by now, I thought you`re just joking with us.
Thank you to letting to know us.

New firmware 2CV102HD, upgrade successfull ) Win7 x64
I have just flashed the new firmware onto my 2 160 GB Postville SSD's running as RAID0 array without any problem.
This is how I did it:
1. burn the ISO file with the firmware as bootable Image
2. enter BIOS and change the SATA Controllers from RAID to IDE Mode
3. boot off the CD with the firmware image
4. flashed both SSD's > getting the indformation, that both was successful
5. shut down the pc for 10 seconds
6. restart the pc, enter BIOS and change the SATA Controllers from IDE to RAID Mode again
7. restarted and everything was fine.
Good luck for you too!
Regards
Fernando

No, not yet published by Intel.
Upgraded successful, CHKDSK didn`t run after upgrade as before.
So far good, it seems the 4K write iops faster by about 30%. Tested with "AS SSD".
