So normally I play using an hdmi external display. However, every time my laptop goes to sleep, or what not. When I open it back up, the laptop defaults back to using its screen. I then have to switch the display over to my hdmi. I am trying to streamline this process, where I setup a profile in Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel that every time I open my laptop, it will try to use the hdmi input for the display. I have setup a profile in there, however it is not the default one. I was wondering if there is a way to make it default, or some other way to make this happen.
Thank you.
Hi,
This is normal with an onboard graphics controller. The driver does not save monitor positions since the driver would think there has been a hardware change every time the computer reboots or change user profiles, etc.
Unfortunately, there is no work around for this matter
Thanks
Allan
