Hello! Ive been having some trouble connecting my PC to my sony bravia KDL-32U2530. There's not many options on the TV about HDMI settings so I guess the problem can only be fixed from the computer. MY TV's revolution is 1366x768 so that's where I have it even if the windows recommend 1920x1080. Well, I have tried many different things and possibilities with the resolutions and I can't make it work. any help would be much appreciated. thank you

Hello,
One of the reasons you are having problems with the resolutions of your monitor is because of the Extended Display Information Data (EDID) does not read properly when connected to some digital flat panel displays. Display devices describe their capabilities by sending EDID to the computer.
To solve your issue I recommend you follow the solution steps at the link below:
http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-028366.htm http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/cs-028366.htm
Also try different HDMI cables and make sure you install the latest drivers from your monitor.
Regards,
Michael

I installed the drivers but there's no difference at all. Not only that but it also changed the refresh rate at 29hz. However thanks for the reply.

Hello,
I do notice from the diagnostic report that you do not have the monitor drivers installed.
I recommend to contact your monitor manufacturer for the latest drivers, and if the issue persists test another monitor.
Regards,
Michael

Hello,
At this point I recommend not to use any kind of video adapters or splitters if you are using any, and also to test another monitor or TV.
Regards,
Michael

Hi John
From the diagnostic report you attached I see that the Intel HD Graphics driver version you are using is 2279. Would it be possible for you to try the latest version from Intel available http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=21428&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(32-bit)*&DownloadType=Drivers here and report your results?
