itoolkit / edit default bios settings

Hello,

I'm trying to edit the BIOS default values of a D2500HN with ITK.

Here is what I've done so far:

a) edit the BIOS settings with ITK

b) copy the files MU0071.ini and MU0071.bio to a USB-Stick

c) boot the target system with that USB stick to DOS

d) call "itoolkit install -config -smbios -ini=MU0071.INI  -reboot"

e) target system updates its BIOS settings and reboots

f) so far, so good. The BIOS has its new settings, BUT, as soon as I remove the mainboards battery, the settings get lost and the original settings are restored. How can I change the "real" default settings?

Regards,

Uwe
