What is intelppm.sys

Dear Team,

We are working as a technical support team at HCL Info systems LTD, India.Recently we got many BSOD errors at various customer sites. After analyzing the dumps most of the dump files pointing to intelppm.sys. May I know what is the intelppm.sys? I need to know more details about intelppm.sys and how to solve these kind of issue.

There are a number of web references to the intelppm.sys driver. Here's one:

In short, intelppm.sys is a Microsoft Intel processor driver that should be located in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory. The intelppm.sys process is part of Microsoft Windows.
