My laptop is using Intel® Core™ i3-2367M Processor and HM65 chipset. I found this CPU supports 16GB at most in its specifications.

I'd like to know how much max memory size this CPU supports for a single memory. Because there is only one DIMM slot on my laptop and without any integrated RAM, and I'd like to know if I can replace the exiting single 4GB memory with a single 8GB one.
Thanks,
Jun Gao

Processor wise, you can install up to 16 GB RAM, however, you need to contact the laptop manufacturer and ask them if the motherboard supports 16 GB Memory sticks, since this can be limited by the laptop manufacturer.

Hi Adolfo,
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm sorry I forgot my login password of Intel website. So did you mean i3-2367M is able to support 16GB single memory if the laptop manufacturer didn't limit the max memory size on the motherboard, right?
Thanks again!

The processor supports a maximum of 16 GB total memory size, that means that you can install 4 memory stick of 4 GB each one, or 2 memory sticks of 8 GB or 1 memory stick of 16 GB, but you need to check with the laptop manufacturer the number of memory slots on your laptop and the maximum memory size supported by each slots.
