I am having serious trouble with the Intel AppUp Center.
When I tried to run from the system tray, and/or from the start menu option, I get the error "We're sorry, we are having trouble starting the application. Please contact customer support who will help you resolve this issue." The words "contact customer support" are hyperlinked to this forum.
When I try to run the uninstaller (with the intention of uninstalling, and then reinstalling the app), the application run_uninstaller.exe which is required to uninstall the software will have "stopped working" (and a pop-up will come up stating that, as typically happens when an application crashes in Windows).
But when I try to run the latest installer, hoping to override the existing version with a fixed version, I get the error "You are mixing the production with the integration version of the store. This is not allowed." Deleting the Intel AppUp Center folder from C:/Program Files (x86)/Intel manually does not help; the same problem comes.
How may this problem be resolved so that I can actually use the Intel AppUp Center?
