DX58SO Takes long to BIOS

Hello, I'm getting some issues with my BIOS.

I have to wait 40-60 seconds on a black screen with a CMD-like keyboard cursor. Then it BIOS fine. Then it takes more 20 secs with a blinking cursor and finally the System boots.

It wasn't happening before. I didn't change any BIOS settings, and I have uptated it to the newest version (SOX5810J.86A.5561.EB file)

I'm running a full updated win 7 ultimate 64-bit

Can anyone help me?

I think that is normal. My DX58SO does the same. If you want, time the events you see on the monitor and I'll do the same to confirm.

I just timed my start up from cold start. The results are:

steady cursor appears on black screen: 19 secs

flashing cursor begins: 32 secs

Win 7 Pro x64 starts: 47 secs

Desktop appears: 97 secs

Desktop completes loading: 135 secs

My system: DX58SO w/ i7-920 & 6GB memory.
