Interesting?!, could be that current Cedar Trail packages are currently borked somewhat though, if they've had to go to a new B3 stepping that isn't compatible with pre '1083 drivers...

I'll join the protest. I'm tired of waiting too. I've spent two week nights and weekends finally managing to install Windows XP on an NP-NC110-P01UK model and the graphics card (GMA 3600 chipset) is not recognised. Is there any unofficial driver around?
Also, the microphone doesn't work at all and the speakers don't always work (I had to insert and take out the headphones to have them to work, don't ask why...) even with the latest Realtek drivers I found at the end of August. Does anyone have a suggestion for that too?
Intel... PLEASE!! XP Drivers for GMA 3600!! This NC110 with Windows Seven even after several tweaks is slower than the old NC10 with XP! Drivers needed!!
Actaully, I have managed to make the NC110 display at 1024x600, following the instructions on a page linked in the second post of the third page: Download Center.
Now I only miss the microphone (no error in the Device Manager, but it's not working and before the last attempt it was complaining about an audio BUS thing). Please help, if you know.

I contacted Intel (live chat), about a week ago, they still had no intention to make a driver for XP.

Well, that chat doesn't explicitly say they would never do the driver for XP.
Fortunately the driver without acceleration is enough for me.
From a quick search it seems your netbook has the same processor and chipset as mine, Intel Atom N2600 and GMA 3600? If it's like that, perhaps you can reboot in safe mode and I can give you the one I made and installed, to try. Let me know.
marco, the one you made does it allow you to reduce the screen brightness?

I don't understand the implication in the second part. Can we still hope for a better (ready made) driver?

The ASUS 1025c are N2800 and gma 3650, screen resolution is 1024x600.

I find it difficult to understand the 128 page long document about how to make the driver (too technical for my computer knoweldge), I tried the short version (in the download center link) but I end up with a black screen.
Marco, do you set manually the screen resolution, the refresh rate ... when you configure the driver?
There's also a choice of "readable port name", what's the diffenece between the 2 types of HDMI?

I tested the driver version 1.15, from what I understand some of the parameters are taken from the monitor EDID block (if readable). I tested it on an Aspire One D270, and the result is not much better! Jerks, I returned to the Windows standard VGA... For me no difference between this version and 1.12...
maybe it will work better with intel motherboards, I wonder if everything does not depend on the bios after all ... (maybe)
It is clear that this development kit is for advanced users who are familiar with the components, response time, LCD matrices. Since even the backlight is controlled by the driver, you must enter the response time in the fields T1 to T5 in a certain place. All this is possible if you know A to Z, your hardware ... I think a lot of people who bought this type of material that will return to the direct competitor of Intel ... AMD, and I wonder if this is not what I think so, if by the end of the year! if there is no solution!
