Hello. I tried to install this tool tonight on a clean Windows 7 installation and it fails due to a newer version of Microsoft® Visual C++ 2010 (x64) Runtime Libraries being present on my fully patched system.
Is it possible to get word to the support group for the tool that a little update is needed?
Here's a large copy/paste of the install log:
Installing using command 'C:\Users\DELETED\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD21D2.tmp\vcredist_x64\vcredist_x64.exe' and parameters ' /q:a ' Process exited with code 5100 Status of package 'Visual C++ 2010 Runtime Libraries (x64)' after install is 'InstallFailed' Status of package 'Visual C++ 2010 Runtime Libraries (x86)' after install is 'InstallNeeded'
This is easily fixed by extracting the contents of the downloaded file to a directory and running the MSI from there. I found this thread after posting which was about the same topic.
