Large File Size- Please be aware that this is a very comprehensive application with large file size (approximately 700 MB) and therefore users will experience longer download times than with a typical application.
This application contains rich video and audio content.
It is recommended that the file be downloaded over a dedicated high speed internet connection.
Should a connection problem occur during the course of the application download, the user may be shown an error message by AppUp. A continuous internet connection is required to ensure successful download. If an error message is displayed, the download must be repeated.
Required Installation Components- This application requires that additional software components be installed on the user’s device. Without these additional components, the application may not launch or run successfully.
During application installation, the installer should recognize and automatically install any missing components OR the user may be prompted to install the components from the software provider’s webpage.
Should an error occur with automated installation of any required components, the user can address this problem by going directly to the software provider website and installing the required components manually. See below for required components and URLs to download:
i. Microsoft .NET Framework 4: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851 (The Microsoft .NET Framework 4 web installer package downloads and installs the .NET Framework components required to run on the target machine architecture and OS. An Internet connection is required during the installation. .NET Framework 4 is required to run and develop applications to target the .NET Framework 4.)
ii. CODECS: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/142731 (A codec is software that is used to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files. For example, when you rip a song from an audio CD to your computer, the Player uses the Windows Media Audio codec to compress the song into a compact WMA file. When you play that WMA file (or any WMA file that might be streamed from a website), the Player uses the Windows Media Audio codec to decompress the file so the music can be played through your speakers.)
iii. Microsoft XNA framework: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=20914 (The XNA Framework Redistributable provides the necessary runtime components to execute a game on Windows that was developed using Microsoft XNA Game Studio 4.0. This release contains improved functionality as well as new features. Installation of this runtime is unnecessary on systems with Microsoft XNA Game Studio 4.0 already installed.)
