Just bought it from Intel AppUp.
Seemed to install OK, but won't run, I get a "Angrybird.exe has stopped working" message. I've tried restarting the computer, doesn't help. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Also doesn't help.
Running Windows 7 (64-bit) on an i7-620M processor, with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 card.
Here's the additional error info thrown up:

Just sent. Thanks.
I am having the same problem. I have tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it and when i go to open it it says an unknown exception has happened? Please help!

We are sorry you are experiencing this issue, but it appears to be specific to the Angry Birds* application and not a problem with the Intel AppUp™ client software. Intel’s validation process checks several key areas for all applications (e.g. installation, security, functionality, etc.) to reduce the risk of issues encountered by our customers. Unfortunately, all possible hardware/software configurations cannot be validated and some customers may see issues.
Support for the Angry Birds application is provided directly by the content publisher (Rovio Mobile Ltd.). Issues can be reported through the "Contact Developer" link found on the Options menu of the application’s description page or by sending an email directly to support@rovio.com.
Note: The Intel AppUp client software provides an easy method to update applications as new versions are released by the developer. Keep an eye on the “Available Updates” window in the “My Apps” tab to see when new feature/fixes are available for your application.
If we become aware of a fix for this from Rovio, we will post it on this thread as well...

I just purchased Angry Birds and when I try to run the game I get the following message "The ADP runtime was unable to initialize". What do I need to do?
Except I tried to e mail the developer and could not. *shakes head*
I am also getting The ADP runtime error... any ideas yet?
Any resolution of this "ADP" issue yet? I just bought the Angry Birds app and am starting to regret this if you guys are selling stuff that wont work.
We are working with the AppUp engineers to resolve this problem where the ADP error is thrown. It is not widespread, so we are evaluating what triggers this particular error when you try to run the application, root cause it, and then resolve the issue. As quick as we can.
I realize it is of little consolation when you want to run the game, but we are working as fast as we can to get to the bottom of why this error is being thrown for a few of our customers.

I get this message every time I try to run Angry Birds, since purchasing the game I have yet been able to play the game. I have not tried any other applicaton as I am afraid to purchase any other application because of the experience I have had with this. I have shut down the application and tried to log back in, but now it won't let me even do that.
Still no solution.
Have been emailing with a couple guys from Intel, but strangely haven't heard a chirp out of the team at Roxio.
One of the Intel guys wants me to install an updated driver from ATI and try it then, but I can't do that since I cancelled my purchase, and I'm not willing to purchase Angry Birds again until I know a definite fix has been found [the AppUp purchase cancellation policy only applies to the first time you buy a given app].
Same ADP runtime problem as others on a 6-month-old Dell Studio XPS16 laptop running Windows 7 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics card. It will run if AppUp is also open, but that shouldn't be required. I hope this can be fixed quickly; it's a pretty big bug.
P.S. Graphics card driver is up to date.
Just bought and won't run. Ran when it first opened immediately after purchase but once I quit and tried to reuse will not let me. ADP runtime error. Now what?
