I have Intel DP45SG mobo with intel E5300 processor and 1 gb 1333mhz kingston ram (KVR1333d3n9/1G).
But the mobo detects it as 800 mhz ram with memory timings 6-6-6-15 at 1.5v.
why is that ?
because of my processor that is 800mhz ?
or do i have to input the correct timings manaually ? if yeh what would be the correct timings to make it work as 1333mhz.
i am from Pakistan and here processors are very expensive and quad core is very very expensive and arent available in used conditions.
and about ram i send an email to intel supoort they said DDR3-1600Mhz ram is fully supported and also on corsair website when i selected my mobo dp45sg it showed 4 ddr3 rams that will work on this mobo out of which 2 were 1333MHZ and 2 were 1600MHZ. and about cross fire do mean that cross fire totally doesnt work ?
i was about to buy kingston hyperx 1600mhz 4gb dual channel. thanks you save me.
we can use ebay but lots of ppl dont ship over here and the shippings charges are high and if its faulty then u have spend lot of money to send it bak again .
so we prefer local markets.
one on my frineds cousin was coming bak from usa so i was thinking to get a ram from there as it was at a very low price 35$ for 4 gb hyper x and if i want to get the same thing from here it will cost approximately 120$ so u can see lots of difference in price.
Major issue here, make sure if you have a Intel e7500 cpu with 1066 Mhz and pairing that with memory with 1333mhz you will get beeps. I have tried it with 2 different kinds of memory to my avail. I switched to lower mhz memory and it worked. I dont know if the proble is only isolated to this type of cpu or if its all types of cpu with 1066 mhz FSB.
I have tried it with a 1333mhz cpu and 1333 mhz memory with flawless results.
