DG33FB Worked fine then all of a sudden processor is overheating

I have made no changes to the system. Since the start the system has run perfectly. Now, seemingly for no reason, the processor runs very hot and/or overheats. The fan is fine and still spinning as fast as it always has.

Can somebody suggest something I can do to remedy this?

You can try to update your system BIOS, you can find the latest BIOS for your desktop board here:
