I am attempting to migrate both disks of my RAID 1 volume to two larger hard drives in Win7U (self built system). Following the directions at:

I first take out one of the smaller disks of my Raid 1 volume and rebuild it on my larger (1TB) drive. It rebuilds to a small partition as it is supposed to do. Everything is fine until I reset my new disk to non-raid as directed in step 9. When I restart my system with that disk only, it doesn’t boot from my newly minted x-raid disk. If I make it a system disk and make it bootable, it doesn’t want to expand using disk management. If I convert it to a Dynamic Disk it expands but will not make a Raid Volume with storage console 8.9.
