Edward:  Thanks for reply and suggestion.  Latest driver is loaded and functional on the server.  I have also successfully loaded and used the web console to check, update, etc. the array.  If I understand properly the configuration is stored on the drive array so the driver would be suspect.  Would it be possible that the driver would fail to write the config info while running the normal operations of the array for the OS properly?  Dale
