Biography:
Mike Breton is currently a Technology Evangelist for Intel's Information Technology Group. In this position, he is responsible for the technical consideration and evangelization of emerging, and sometimes disruptive, technologies with the goals of increasing productivity, and lowering cost while embracing new trends such as consumerization and social networking. Mike joined Intel in 1989 as a software technician and aside from 2 recent years in Intel's Digital Home Group, he has always been a part of IT and has held numerous IT roles primarily focusing on infrastructure components such as server OS, directory, and messaging. Mike lives with his wife and one child in Folsom, California. He has a passion for technology, integration, and the digital home with special interest in home controls, automation, and energy management. In his spare time he enjoys; cycling, backpacking, paint ball, scuba diving, wishing he was sailing, and everything Disney.
