Will 3100 fit into 1U server (such as Dell R320) ? I spent an hour trying to figure what server ethernet adapter supports DDIO. The only credible information I found is X540-AT2 controller... I know X540-T2 adapter uses X540 controller. But again there... I have received new Dell R320 with E5-1410. I am going to run low latency application on it. I bought E5 specifically to use Intel Integrated IO. However I found option in BIOS to enable I/OAT. My ques... I ordered Dell with e5-1410 and I also have 10Gbe card which says: PCIe x8 Gen 2.0 compliant (PCIe Gen 3.0 compatible) @ 5.0 GT/s for full, 40 Gbps bi-directional bandwidth Will the Integrated IO work... Will PCe Gen 2 card enjoy all the benefits of E5 Integrated IO ?
