| Biography: | Chief Technology Officer of the Information Technology Group and the general manager for Strategy, Architecture and Innovation. Prior to this role, Edward Goldman had accountability for various roles over a 15 year career with Marriott International. These roles included technology strategy & innovation, responsibility for Marriott’s enterprise operations which included all systems and networks within the corporate data center and its business recovery strategy, oversight of the development of Marriott’s enterprise architecture discipline and several management roles for senior technical associates responsible for the design and implementation of systems architecture and project management. He joined Marriott from NASD in 1996 where he served as a director in the Systems and Operations group. Edward Goldman also held roles for several IT consulting companies such as Boeing Computer Services, Operations Research International and IBM Corporation. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Information Systems from Mt. St. Mary's College. |
