Biography: Eoin McConnell is the RISC Segment Manager for Intel’s Server Platform Group. In this role, he is responsible for driving Intel’s Strategy, Marketing programs and OEM engagements focused on competing with both POWER and SPARC based architectures with Intel’s Portfolio of Itanium and Xeon based server platforms. He has been with Intel since 1997. Eoin has held Business Strategy, Marketing and Sales roles both within Intel US and Intel Europe across Intel’s Server Platform Group, Sales and Marketing Group and Intel IT. Prior to joining Intel, Eoin worked for both KPMG Peat Marwick and Deloitte Touche. He currently lives in Portland, OR with his wife and child.
