Posted by Jeff Torello on Sep 5, 2007 2:39:00 PM

I thought I'd provide a short introduction to the vPro Expert Training Program. I'll have more details to share as we get into the 4th Quarter of this year. As this program is still in development, some of the information below is subject to change, fair warning :D.

What is the vPro Expert Training Program?

The vPro Expert Training Program is a series of public, technical training courses currently in development. These courses will be offered to the general public starting in the 4th quarter of 2007. Specific dates/times/logistics are not available at present.

Hi Jeff,

this is great news! I am looking forward to getting my vPro knowledge certified

I understand that you do not have any specifics about the logistics just yet, but do you have any information in which GEO these courses are going to be given? Are you currently targeting the US only?

mfarooq: check that you entered a valid password string. It must contain at least one uppercase character, a special character (like @!), one number and has to be over eight characters long. A valid string would be Password1! . Remember that the BIOS expects a US keyboard and that the password string must not contain quotation marks.

Regards

Alex

mfarooq,

As Alex has suggested, it sounds like you are not entering a strong password. Try to follow the strong password rules (mixed case, number, special character, over 8 total) and I believe your problem will be resolved.

Sep 10, 2007 7:20 AM Jeff Torello Jeff Torello    says in response to Alex Pabst:

Alex,

The intention is to offer the courses worldwide. We're going to pilot the classes in the U.S. first and then work to roll them out to the rest of the world. In order to create the logistics of that roll-out we need some data first, which the pilots should help us create (how long does the class actually take, what do we need at the training location to support the class, etc.)

Cheers!
