Hello,
i have a problems with two different Systems but with identical Hardware 5500HCVR 2XE5620 Westmere 36 GB Ram. Hyper-V Role installed on Win 2008 R2.
Systems work fine when installed only 8GB or Hyper-V Role not installed. But when working with 36GB and installed Hyper-V Sytems become instable and sometimes stop working and show BSOD. Can anybody tell if there are problems above 32GB with Westmere CPU's
Thanks

Not inherently, but the more memory you get, the tighter the timing margins become, and the more important it is to stick to the tested memory list.
What are you running in the S5500HCVRs?

That's the only idea I had. Anyone else?
any log files from the BSOD indicating a cause?
