I applied this BIOS update earlier today (coming from 5112). Default Turbo Multiplier is now fixed (has been broken since 4598), however it seems that Intel is finally saying BCLK is intentional in the Release Notes:
Fixed issue where setting the Host Clock to 133 (default of 135) would hang the system.
Also it appears they have resolved the issue that prevents you from lowering BCLK value below 135 if you modify memory settings (in 5112 I had to apply memory changes, reboot, then set BCLK again). Why they would intentionally have default to an "incorrect" value at default is beyond me, but at least it can be changed without too much hassle now.
Otherwise it appears about as stable as the 5112 release... haven't had any issues system not properly restarting after reboot/shutdown like the 4598-5020 releases.
You are very brave people, i almost lost my board after 5020, went back to 4405 and will only upgrade to a 100% bug free bios.
Kakusso how did you recover your board after 5020?.. any help? im stuck with a bricked dx58so mobo flashed with the 5020 and watchdog disabled.. (no psot, no video, no reading form usb at all)
After many attempts and battery removals it booted in configuration mode (jumper).
It is very stable now. I even OC 920 to 3.20GHz with stock cooler.
