Windows 7 updated drivers are not available trough Windows Update as it's said in http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wlan/sb/CS-030472.htm but Windows 7 (RTM) has already been released and launched. Do I have to buy an atheros wireless adapter to properly run Windows 7 and use my wireless connections??
Same system, same wireless adapter, and I'm getting the same results, except in my case the high DPC latency is happening every 10 seconds, not every 10 micro-seconds.
Yes, the yellow bars appear every 10 seconds (not micro-seconds) and they still with latest drivers for Windows 7 64-bit (13.0.0.107).

I spent many hours troubleshooting a dropped connection issue with the 4965AGN and Win 7.
It appears as though rolling back the driver to 11.1.0.86 has solved the issue for me. I'm running 32-bit but just thought I'd let you know that this driver is working well for me - YMMV.

I too was having issues on Win7 x64 with drivers, I also went back as far as the 11.1.0.86, manualy installing from the .inf. So far so good.
This worked for me for about 2 days now it seems the issue has returned

I'm using Win7 RTM x64, same exact device and driver version (4965AGN, 13.0.0.107 dated 9/15/2009), and I'm having the exact same issue. DPC Latency Checker from www.thesycon.de shows a >1000us spike every 10 seconds, like clockwork, if I have this device enabled in Device Manager. This is causing clicks and pops in audio recorded via my Alesis USB mixer.
Did you ever resolve this? I have the exact same problem with the 5300 AGN. Every 10 second (exactly) there is a spike of > 1000us, which sometimes causes audio glitches. I am running Windows 7 Professional x64. Disabling the Wireless adapter makes the issue disappear, but that is not really a feasible solution for a laptop.
No it isn't solved, so be patient as Intel doesn't seem to fix this kind of bugs (as NVIDIA stills with over 16000 micro-seconds DPC latencies when powermizer is enabled or just when the driver changes the frequencies between GPU bios defined ones making imposible to do audio/video editing/recording unless you use PowerMizer Switch). The eldery bugs never die Xd (and this is lasting so much)
I have noticed that sometimes when I reboot, there is no DPC latency, but most of the time there is. Only a reboot will make the difference, just disabling/reenabling the card doesn't work. Maybe the issue is related to some resource allocation.
I'm also having this issue and it's clearly from the 4965 driver.
OS: Windows 7 x64 Professional Retail
Driver: 13.0.0.107
Laptop: Lenovo T61p
Problem - High DPC latency every 10 seconds causing intermittent audio skipping in playback and recording
Proof - When I disable my Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN device - the latency floats around 250us and there is no longer any skipping. This also means I have no internet connection... So that's not a valid workaround. Enabled and it goes right back to the 10 second spikes.
