plug out all other connecting device such as HDD and cd rom..
then power the system up... if you see post and display on the monitor.. you are lucky... off the system and plug back.. power up the system once all cable and power cable are securely connected..
if the board still fail to boot.. pls take out the ram.. and on the mainboard with the processor connected... is there any sound... if they is sound.. pls resit your ram modules and try booting..
if all cannot work... pls take out your CMOS battery and leave it without any power source for more than 15 mintues.. maybe you shall go and have a hot coffee watching tv..
after the 15 min break.. place the battery back and power the system...

1. Restart the system into BIOS by pressing <F2> during the boot process.
2. Once in the BIOS setup utility, press <F9> to restore BIOS default settings.
3. Clear all DMI event logs by setting the option to "Enable", which is located in the Advanced/Event Log Configuration section of the BIOS Setup utility.
4. Press <F10> to save the new settings and reboot the system.
I saw another posting similar to this issue. It was related to the DG35EC board but I am not seeing it now. They had a similar issue. The person upgraded from Pentium Dual Core to a Core 2 Duo on a cold start it was fine - but upon a reboot it would not boot.
The same result, boots at the first inclusion normally and when there is a reboot silence, but the fan on the processor turns on maximum turns
I had same problem with 3 long beeps when I upgraded mem to 8 gb - 4 x 2 gb
remove the graphics card then install mem and wait till computer starts up hold powerbutton in ,
replace graphics card and 3 beeps gone and mem installed.
