What Intel chips have or can use AMT and vPro functions?

I am researching System Management products from KACE, Absolute, Symantec, Filewav, and Landesk. Management side Intel demo listed companies like Altiris. I am trying to identify what computers have these functions. I have seen a few Intel sites. http://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-4797?decorator=print only has core 2 processors. Is the AMT and or the vPro functions only available in computer with vPro sticker. Altiris sales people never mentioned vPro or AMT. Intel demo functions like the ability to isolate a specific machine due to updates or virus the Altiris sales people said this can not be done in Altiris. Only without Symantec NAC which is part of End Point Protection. I understand sales, but I want data. What is need to get Intel's functions like in the demo? Blue screen remote and locking down a computer.

I have a dell optiplex 760 with dell processor e8400 3.0 6MB as listed on http://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-4797?decorator=print as Intel Desktop Processors that support Intel vPro technology. Hi there - I looked up your system and the Dell Optiplex 760 is not a vPro system - but it does have Standard Manageability. Standard Manageability is a subset of the vPro features - here is an excerpt from the FAQs:

Q8: What is Intel® Standard Manageability and can it run on a non-Intel® vPro™ technology-based CPU?
A8: Some basic management capabilities are available on non-Intel® vPro™ technology-eligible Intel® Core™2 processors as well as Intel® Pentium® dual-core and Intel® Celeron® processor-based CPUs. Intel® Standard Manageability is available only on desktop systems right now (not notebook), and only includes basic capabilities such as hardware and software inventory and remote diagnostics.

Hi Rob,
I would second Michele here and now that you know that your PC provides Standard Manageability, thanks to Michele for a detailed research, since you mentioned that you are using E8400 CPU in your OptiPlex, I would like to add that E8400 is a vPro supported processor. It is further available in two steppings with different sSpec numbers: SLB9J and SLAPL
