iDrive has a small bug which triggers the error message you have seen. This has been reported to the developer to work on a fix.
However there is a workaround to play the game: When you get the error message, just confirm it and close the Intel AppUp™ software (unless you want to install other applications). In the Windows XP Startmenu you should find the iDrive game (Start/All Programs/iDrive/iDrive.exe).
In fact the game installed fine and runs on my computer. The error message seems to be a communication problem between the AppUp Client and the iDrive Setup function.
