You can install the DDR3 1600Mhz dimm but it will run at max 1333Mhz.
The SPD contains all info related to different timings.
Do not mix ram dimm's with different speeds.
In a word NO, The only board that supports DDR3-1600, Is DX48BT2, And only 2 Gigs single sided ram, Also you CPU has to have a FSB of 1600Mhz Expensive CPU QX9650 or higher??

He told that it doesn't matter if the dimm runs at a lower clock speed..eg 1333Mhz.
Dimms have an SPD that contains timing information for different ram clock frequencies.
His board can not run at 1600Mhz but the dimm can be used to work at slower frequency.
