I purchased and installed a 4 GB Intel Turbo Memory module on my NSpire KHLB2 notebook. At first I installed the software included on the CD. I discovered that was a mistake so I downloaded and installed version 1.10.0.1012 Turbo Memory driver off of Intel's website. It still doesn't work. I read somewhere on the Internet that you have to reboot multiple times to get this to work. Well, I have rebooted well over 7 times and it still doesn't work. I also tried with and without a Windows page file turned on, with and without User Account Control turn on and it still doesn't work.
Windows Device Manager shows the Intel Turbo Memory Controller installed and working properly. Intel Turbo Memory Console shows Windows ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive both disabled and total cache size of 4GB. The options to enable these cache policies are both disabled.
If I go into System Information -> Intel Turbo Memory I see:
Cache Disk Location: -1
Model Name: None
Capacity: 0 GB
Any ideas?

I just installed 4GB Turbo Memory this afternoon. And I found myself in the same situation. Totally lost. What the heck this is.
Can someone from Intel tell me what to do to make my Turbo Memory work.
I have exactly the same problem on Windows 7 with my Thinkpad T400
.
Please help us!
I solved the problem myself. Intel does not care about their customers.
I reinstalled Win-7 and ran System Update right after the system installation completed. By doing so, Turbo Memory driver was installed before any other driver/DLL or any possible cause that blocked Turbo Memory driver from activation.
It did work perfectly. Now I am happy with my W500.
But still not happy wit Intel's customer service.
Good luck.
No matter how this is a new technology, and it is raw,but it is perfect one day!<br>
Any progress? Have just installed such a card and have exactly as you describe.
I have the same problem and called Intel and they passed it off to everyone else so I'm going to initiate a "Class Action" lawsuite against Intel for sweeping this under the rug and ignoring the people that PAY FOR THERI SALARY!!!
I used Windows 7 64bit and the driver for this device directly from Intel and my RAID is set up properly. They made a garbage device and I and we will demand compensation!
Yes, this is what happened to me. I gave up, bought a Solid State Drive and replaced my main drive with it, moving my user data toi another drive, and my PC now goes like a bat out of hell. I got a refund on my Turbo Memory - hope you can.
