    Dear Pravin,

Were socket pins damaged at the time of installation of CPU or they were already damaged when you received the motherboard and unpacked it?

If the pins have been damaged during the installation of the CPU, you can not claim the warranty however you can send it for repairs cause manual damage is not covered under warranty. However if the pins were damaged already, please return your motherboard in warranty to your local GID (Genuine Intel Dealer) from whom you have purchased the motherboard and get a replacement.

If you need any further information, please feel free to contact us.

    How is this possible?

On the scoket is a plastic plate that covers the socket pins.

This plate is ment for the protection of the socket pins.

As soon when you buy the board, and ermove the plastic plate, and there are pins damaged, return the board at once.

There is no reason to complain every weeks or months later.
