using windows 7 32-bit, any ideas why after installing intel matrix stroage or the latest rst drivers that iastor.sys isn't being used by windows 7? it is still using disk.sys according to driver detail under property.
board has a ich9r southbridge and raid mode is enabled by bios.
so intel raid supposed to be ahci inclusive also, but it seems that ide protocol is being used for drives that aren't in raid config. i am getting only ~4mb/second on random writes while with ahci mode i can get up to ~30mb/second on random writes. (using crystal diskmark)
