I installed it without any problems.
Running the optimizer took 10 minutes on my 160GB drive.
It didn't change the performance at all though (measured with CrystalDiskMark), on the other hand I didn't expect it to either since I'm using Windows 7 with TRIM enabled. You could say that it prooved that TRIM really works.
Yep! No need to run the toolbox if you OS is TRIM aware and you are using the right drivers.
Really glad to see it - I am still stuck with Windows XP and it really helped.
IMHO for SSD where space is at premium WindowsXP is not a bad choice to be honest...
Consider win7. Its footprint is very small. Mine is 20GB with pagefile and 5GB worth of programs installed + XP mode (though, I never used it until now). Not to mention its superiority over XP in virtually every way. ![]()
Yeah Win7 is my next step indeed.
The way I partitioned my 160GB G2 is 40GB for OS X and the rest for Windows as NTFS is accessible by both systems and might benefit from TRIM straight away...
I will upgrade to Win 7 and Snow Leopard over Christmas hopefully.
