how to enforce speed 100M for intel 82541PI?

Dear All:

I installed a intel NIC 82541PI for windows professional XP with serivce pack 3. It works very well with 10/100/1G these days. But now I'm testing a model and wanting to it works with 100M, so I don't find the way to change it.

Other's brand NIC has a Advanced option, but it doesn't have it.

Please help me to do this.

Thanks for any suggestion.

I am not sure which adapter you have. I checked the settings for the IntelĀ® PRO/1000 GT Desktop Adapter, which uses the 82541PI controller. The driver installs an Advanced tab setting to configure speed and duplex. Is this what you are looking for?

If the setting is missing you might have an OEM NIC with a modified driver or something about the driver installation might be corrupted.

Check your driver version. The latest driver is dated 08/20/2008 and is version 8.10.3.0. You could try updating your driver or uninstalling your NIC and perform a new install. A link to download the driver is below.
