Life is good.  One week with the 8.7 driver and no issues.

You need to post this request separately. It has nothing to do with the Matrix Storage Manager problem being discussed in this thread.

I'm also having problems with the newest Matrix Storage Manager 8.9.0.1023.

I am having same problem. Just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (Retail version).

My config:

Gigabyte EX38-DQ6 (ICH9R)

WD 250GB drives (o/s) SATA

Maxtor 320GB drives (data) SATA

These errors used to occur A LOT in the past, when I used my Maxtor drives for my o/s. So I switched to WD drives. But now after installing version 8.9, it is same problem. Drives rebuilding for no reason. I shut down Win7, and next time I reboot....BAM....starts rebuilding arrays.

What good is the Intel RAID solution, if the darn thing keeps dropping out drives and is not reliable?
