Modal Intervals, what do you hear or think about this new platform?

There are new standards being considered by the IEEE for the application of Intervals in the future of computer processing platforms.  In addition they are looking at including Modals into this new standard.  What do you hear or think about this?

Hi, I have asked lead architects and we have no comment at this point about this issue.
