Since this question has been asked before, here is the best answer for you:
(From July 27th post from Guest):
What you want to do is really more than a processor change. Whenever you see a Centrino logo, means that there are at least 3 Intel products in your notebook that are validated to work together. These are, the processor, the mini-pcia wireless card, and the chipset. So the answer is no, you cannot update, since the benefits with Centrino go beyond processor speed (connectivity, longer battery life, performance etc)
Please try these links and let us know if you find what you are looking for:
Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core Desktop Processor
Intel® Core™2 Duo Desktop Processor
Thanks for your question.
Hello!
Be happy to assist you! I have a few questions to help myself investigate your issue further... What is the provisioning model you selected on the client system... Enterprise or SMB? Please provide your settings you have within SMS to help me further understand how you have your SMS configured... Collections > All Tasks > Intel® AMT Tools > Add-on Settings…
Also, after using the SCS (Enterprise mode)… Did you successfully “provision” the system you are attempting to power cycle under Intel® AMT Systems… under Status…
Lastly, a very important part is the discover of the system(s)… Under Collections > All tasks > Intel® AMT Tools > Discover Intel® AMT via SCS… Then update collection membership… Then refresh Intel® AMT Systems….
Please let me know your settings and other possible areas you may need to verify your settings since errors will occur if any setting is incorrect. Regards, Corey

Michael,
We haven't released a lot of information publicly yet about Tylersburg and Nehalem-EX chipsets. What we have done was recently disclosed at the Intel Developer Forum in August (goto http://www.intel.com/idf/).
If you are a developer and under NDA with Intel we can put you in touch with a local sales person for additional follow-up. Feel free to drop me an email if that is the case
Chris
Thanks for your questions, here's what I found out. Both the Intel X38ML Server Board and Intel® Server System SR1520ML (contains two of the X38ML boards in a 1U system with high efficiency power supplies) are still in production. Due to large-demand, inventory levels of the X38ML board are very low, but additional supply should be available in mid-October. Please work with your distributor to place an order so that any orders can be filled as quickly as possible. Intel does have supply immediately available of the SR1520ML system.
