I bought Gigabyte GeForce GTX 260 GV-N26OC-896I for DX58SO. Our screen just show no video singal after power on.
It also happen on my othe intel board DP35DP. But it work prefect on the retail shop with Asus / Gigabyte motherboard....
Anybody can help?
Please try another Graphic card
HD4650 work good... only GTX260 have problem
Windows still run but DVI & VGA port also no display...
I wonder if other brands of GTX 260, like eVGA, would work, or if Gigabyte is aware of possible incompatibility.
I was thinking of replacing an 8600GTS for GTX 275 on this board, never had trouble with eVGA cards.
Not compliable DX58SO... but it also can't work with my old DP35DP...
Seem it only not work with intel mothberboard only....
Change back to 8800GTS... but still have problem...
BIOS -> Ctrl I -> Intel RAID setting... it become black sceen...
DX58SO really have incompliable with Nvidia ???
Wow another Intel board that doesn't work with Nvidia cards..
I have a Intel DX38BT Bone trail that won't run a nvidia card. BFG GTX 295.
I was thinking bout getting a DX58SO to make my GeForce GTX 295
to work.. But good thing I didn't..
I have no post with this new card installed..
Tried newest bios from intel .. And the newest Aug 2009 version bios still didn't fix the issue.
Have you tried a newer bios.. for your board...
Good luck I still have this $500.00 BFG Video card waiting..
Probably Asus will work .. Sorry intel..
My biso. ver. 4196 7/16/2009.... many problen work with Nvidia card...
ATI HD4650, HD4670, HD4890 work prefect....
ATI cards work yes..
But on the upgrade trail the best video card out there right now
is the
Nvidia fx 295
ATI is not the best card for now..
Hei Mike, your 295 & my 260 don't work with all Intel board...
My 260 also have problem with my old Intel DP35DP too
I believe that Intel board must follow the standard. Nvidia / OEM production seem across the red line...
Or Intel always produce out of standard motherboard for a long time...
Update VGA card BIOS... problem solve...
http://www.giga-byte.com/Support/vga/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=3129
It said that...
"Fix certain of monitor compatible issue."
I never heard about vga card not compatible with monitor.... ![]()
Its not only the 260, the gtx 460 have problems too... the mobo dont recognise the video card.
And until now, the INTEL didnt fix the problem.
