Hi Rafael,
I would be helpful to know if your system come with Intel® Wireless Display (WiDi) software preinstalled and enabled and if it ever worked fine before.
I am having an identical issue. WIDI came installed on my Pavilion dv7 notebook pc. What is going on? I removed the wireless chip and reinstalled (I've replaced this with a new chip once already). I've gone to the intel drivers and downloads and updated everything available. I have uninstalled WIDI and installed with the oldest version possible. Current version installed on my computer will begin to launch but will abort immediately while flashing a notification window for a fraction of a second. Attempts to update from the website are met with results described by the originial poster.
i am having the same problem with an Intel ....6205 for desktop that i installed. any help would be greatly appreciated.
It worked once upon a time once. im running a toshiba portege z935
at one point in time it worked once. i tryed updating the firmware and it stopped working completely even if i downgrade the software. id be more than willing to allow someone from intel to teamviewer my computer to get it to work
